Life After "I Do": The Next Chapter Begins

On September 19th, we stood surrounded by our favorite people and officially tied the knot. It was a day filled with so much joy, community, and core memories that our hearts are still entirely full. But if anyone tells you that wedding planning is the hardest part, they leave out the chapter that comes next.

Suddenly, the checklists are done. The invoices are paid. The group chats quiet down. And you look around and realize: We live here.

For months, this website lived as our digital living room - a logistical hub for itineraries, details, and counting down the days until we became husband and wife. But weddings are just a single day. And as magical as September 19th was, the real prize isn’t the party; it’s the ordinary, messy, beautiful life that happens after the petals are swept up.

It’s the slow Saturday mornings with a cup of tea. It’s figuring out where the art goes, debating paint samples, and hosting impromptu dinner parties that stretch late into the night. It’s the small, daily rituals of building a home together.

Forever Holbert is our natural next chapter. We wanted a place that could grow alongside us, bridging our love for intentional design, storytelling, and community.

Moving forward, this site is splitting into two things we love:

1. The Journal (The Blog): A digital space where we’re documenting our ongoing adventures in nesting, sharing recipes, and pulling back the curtain of our lives.

2. The Shop: A curated collection of home goods, small-batch decor, and tactile everyday pieces designed to bring warmth, soul, and intention into your own rooms.

Whether you were there to pop champagne with us on the 19th or you’re just finding us now as we launch this new chapter, we are so glad you’re here.

Building a home doesn't happen overnight, and neither does building a brand - so we're taking you along for the entire ride.
